Small Group Training

focus…

STABILITY SESSIONS (Tuesdays)  - Unleash the power of Pilates, yoga, and barre style movements designed to engage, strengthen, and define your core, glutes and stabilizing muscles. Stability workouts pave the way for a powerful and stable foundation and a body that moves with grace. Pairing mindful movement and breathing, these workouts leave you feeling rejuvenated and stronger after each session.

STRENGTH SESSIONS (Fridays) - For women, prioritizing strength training is paramount. It serves as a powerful defense against the natural effects of aging, tackling issues like weakness, muscle loss, and declining bone density. Beyond physical benefits, this form of fitness becomes a transformative source of energy, fostering resilience in the face of life’s demands. Particularly for busy women and moms, embracing strength training becomes a strategic investment in achieving enduring vitality and balance.  During these sessions we will be using a combination of bodyweight moves, dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls and more!

Why a small group?

Small group provides a personal training feel with the support and community of other moms working out alongside you.

There are a lot of gyms, boot camps, classes and on demand video workout programs out there, but they are rarely geared towards strengthening and recovering our unique pregnant and postpartum bodies. It’s easy to get lost with the moves, be unsure if you’re doing them properly, not know how to adapt a move to your body/needs and end up injured.

During our small group sessions we have a maximum of 6 women, allowing you to get 1:1 feedback and support on pressure management, form, modifications and progressions. I go around to each person, looking at posture, making adjustments, and guiding breathing to help optimize the move and make it personalized to your body.

During these sessions I try to empower you with fundamental tools and strategies that you can use at home, at the gym, and in future workouts to help prevent injury and better manage pressure.

What do I need to bring?

Bring your mat and water. You will get notified each week if there is any equipment in particular you need to bring.

How does it work with the kids?

Kids are welcome to join and play! We are usually on the porch for the workout and the kids run around in the fenced in yard outside and play. We have plenty of toys to share, but feel free to let them bring snacks and toys of their own!
